Bangalore is globally well-known as India’s Silicon Valley, technology hub and the capital city of the state of Karnataka, India's number 1 solar market. The state has already installed over 5 GW of solar energy, and represents 24 percent market share of the total installed capacity in India, making it India's top solar market.
GoodWe had the chance to display some of our most popular products in the Indian market, including the best-selling MT series for rooftops, both our new generation of SDT and SMT series for small commercial PV applications and also got to introduce our newly designed ET three-phase inverter series.
The MT series, the bestseller in India, is famous for its high compatibility in large scale commercial rooftops and ground-mounted solar PV systems. It includes a boost function that offers continuous maximum AC output power overload of 15% for a higher yield and quicker ROI. It also features a more compact design, with less than 20% volume and a lighter weight as compared to other conventional models, which greatly simplifies installation and commissioning, saving time and costs. It supports 95mm2aluminum cables instead of 75mm2 copper cables, which saves investment on AC cables. With capacities of 50 kW and 60 kW, the new transformerless, three-phaseGoodWe MT series grid-tied inverters are equippedwith four MPP Trackers ensuring the outputs of connected modules are able to generate the highest yields even in different PV installation conditions, including a 5% output up compared to string inverters with one MPP tracker on the market. Moreover, the series allows full load operation at 50 degrees without degradation, which perfectly suits India’s tough climate conditions.
On 11th December, GoodWe also partnered up with LONGi Solar to hold a successful gala dinner after the first day of the show. Most of our partners and customers took part in the event and enjoyed a wonderful night on the lawn outdoors. "We’re proud to have worked with some of the most reputed EPCs and developers on many large-scale C&I projects, ranging from 5MW to 20MW, such as TATA Power, Bosch, and Sterling & Wilson, and more. Thank you all for your trust and support. We will be persistently supplying the most advanced components and techniques available, all while offering an unparalleled after-sales service” said James, GoodWe’s Sales Head for the Asia-Pacific region.
